DESIGN DRAWINGS - Page 1

Since posting the Feature about this pond in the Cayman Islands we have received many requests to ask if we could possible show some of the drawings that were prepared for our customer and which were used towards the actual construction ..  So it is with pleasure that we now add just a couple of those drawings and hope that it helps you understand further the principles of building a pond and fitting a filtration system...
Bearing in mind that this customer, who we had never met at this stage, had never had even a Goldfish pond .... and therefore it was quite a difficult job persuading him that all this filtration was indeed necessary ...  and this was the first drawing that we prepared for him - following his instructions that he wished to have one or two planted area's even though we did advise against such at the time ... this initial design was rejected as the filtration system would take up too much room...

We also produced a drawing of the filtration house for this same layout in 3D

An overhead view showed the layout of the filtration etc

This view shows the 3D elevation

Following submitting those initial drawings we were advised that there would be a problem with the neighbours if the filtration house had a roof or showed above the existing hedge - so we reduced the height of the building but retaining the layout of the filtration system etc.

This filtration system and the structure was thought to be far too large and was rejected but we thought that you may like to see what can be produced for our world wide customers when required to do so ..

So lets move on to the filtration system and structure that was accepted and which was eventually constructed and installed...
